How did you come up with the idea for EDDIE RED? 

I was teaching high school AP Spanish Literature at the time, and we were studying detective stories from Argentina. I was also reading articles about the publishing industry, and the need for more MG mystery novels. Eddie showed up in my imagination and wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote his story.

Who is your literary agent?

My agent is Kristin Nelson (Nelson Literary Agency). She represents such powerhouse authors as Ally Carter and Marie Lu. She is über-smart, hardworking, and loyal. I'm pretty sure she owns a ninja suit and samurai sword. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
